May Cheung is a Canadian singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, New York. Her music stems from folk-pop origins combined with elements of alternative rock. She is currently working with Press Here Publicity (White Stripes, The Killers, Alison Krauss) in New York City to publicize the release of her debut album titled "The Departure" in the various cities that she will be touring in (with Sony artist Nir Felder and Emmy-nominated songwriter Drew Yowell).
The Greys is an admittance into a world that we often try to suppress or ignore. Driven by an honesty and openness they believe can be found within darkness, The Greys are a jazz inspired indie/alt/folk vocal/upright bass duo. Their unapologetic discussions on subjects of mental health, the rejection of factory settings within ourselves, and how we allow ourselves to fill up space in this world paved the way for their first EP “The Landing,” released in February 2017.http://hawksandreed.ticketfly.com/event/1571940/
Cait Simpson and Chris Merritt have been friends for 7 years and met their freshman year of college while studying jazz. Prior to graduation in 2015, Chris had the idea for a duo. After a year of finding their voice through haunting renditions of covers as well as learning to reject the rigid borders and requirements that art is often treated as existing within—The Greys was born. Using an instrumentation that some say can be as as confrontational as their message, The Greys fully take you along for their voyage.
