Robert Markey studied classical and blues guitar and then sitar with Peter Row in Boston and Gokul Nag in India. His music is based in the North Indian (Hindustani) music tradition. Robert plays a mix of ragas from North and South India and raga-like improvisations from Persia, Japan, Hungary and Indonesia.

Andrew Jenkins is a twelve-string guitarist who studied at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, and has been has been playing music for 38 years. He has composed many pieces and has performed with musicians with backgrounds in jazz, folk, rock and international music.

Jim Matus is the inventor of the laoutar, a cross between a Greek laouto and a mandocello. For this instrument he has composed a repertoire of instrumental pieces. He studied guitar at Berklee with Pat Metheny and privately with John Scofield. He has produced many albums since 1987 and the 2001 release Ishq was up for a Grammy in the World Music category.
