Ghostface Killah
Ghostface Killah
Ghostface Killah, is an American rapper and prominent member of the Wu-Tang Clan. After the group achieved breakthrough success in the early- to mid-1990s, each member was free to pursue solo careers. Ghostface Killah took his name from one of the characters in the 1979 kung fu film Mystery of Chessboxing. GFK was raised in the Stapleton Housing Projects in Staten Island, New York.

In his autobiographical song "All That I Got Is You ", Ghost tells the story of his childhood. He raps about how he grew up in a three bedroom apartment without his father who left him at the age of six. Growing up poor he experienced hard living conditions like "Pluckin roaches out the cereal box. "

He debuted with the rest of the hip hop rap mega group Wu-Tang Clan on their critically acclaimed debut, 1993's Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). A roommate of Wu-Tang founder The RZA, Ghostface helped bring together the other seven members, and would function as executive producer on all the Wu-Tang Clan releases.

The Problemaddicts
PROBLEMADDICTS- “Reminiscent of the now-defunct Jurassic 5 in their prime” (URB.COM), The Problemaddicts approach Hip Hop with a genre-crossing blend of new school production and old school lyricism. The Massachusetts based six-member crew has played over 200 shows since their 2006 inception and pride themselves on the ability to kickstart any party while also facing the issues of today. The Problemaddicts pushed the boundaries of rap music with their 2008 release The Dark Side of Oz. The 12-track mash-up of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of The Moon and The Wizard of Oz soundtrack landed in College Music Journal’s Top 10 Hip Hop charts, winning over a variety of fans in the process. Their follow up, a free downloadable mixtape entitled Burn This Shit , has been showing up across the blogosphere with great reviews as they move towards their untitled 3rd LP, due this fall.

Moke & Tone- Moke & Tone is the combination of Hard Time’s MokeOut, and The Problemaddict’s Producer/ MC, Tone. The Debut LP, Shot Heard ‘Round the World” features production from Tone, Illmind, J Clyde, and more, as well as collabos with Toussaint The Liberator, Crooked I, Vorheez, Mr Metaphor, Catalyst, and Tools. This album should be emerging in the next few months, so keep an ear out for the Shot!!!
