Join us for the Fight Fire with Fiya! Mid-Winter Reggae Music Bash and Benefit at Hawks & Reed. Come and dance off the winter cold as we celebrate life, being warm in the cold and the (almost) birthday anniversary of Bob Marley! Featuring live music by ReBelle, Dave Noonan’s Green Island, Rhythm Inc and a DJ set by I-Ganic Sound System. Beneficiaries are The World Central Kitchen and The Next Day House.

Green Island is a collective of some of the Pioneer Valley's best musicians. The band plays a wide variety of music and styles from Coltrane to Ranglin, Marley to Marvin, ballads to Banghra. Organized by Dave Noonan, Green Island is dedicated to showcasing the wonderful talents of its members and rotating special guests as well as rocking the dance floor.

Their mystical mix of pulsing tribal rhythms and strong arrangements are internationally acclaimed. ReBelle has performed in Africa, including the Blaise Senghor Institute in Senegal, Reggae Sunsplash in Senegal and Baia das Gatas Festival in Cape Verde. I-Ganic Sound System is a MOBILE REGGAE SOUND SYSTEM.
Selecting the latest and classic sounds from the U.K. to Jamaica: Roots, Dub, Dancehall, Steppas... I-Ganic uses a series of effect processors, sirens and vibe enhancing sounds to produce a one of a kind, bass heavy, echo blurred dub mix, live on the sound system.
